About Us

Challenge Outreach in New Orleans, Louisiana is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization which provides assistance to teens, adults and families in need.   We have several outreach programs:

o  Food Pantry                        o  Opioid Patient Support            o  Student Mentoring 

o  Recovery Group                   o  Housing/Job Resources                              

All of the above programs have the common goal leading toward empowering individuals with:

o    Purpose and Self-Worth

o    Independent Living (being able to support themselves and/or their families)

o    Stronger Relationship with God

While handouts are necessary at times, this should be a temporary solution, not a permanent one.  We believe in "teaching a person to fish instead of just giving them a fish".  Challenge Outreach is currently participating in programs which allows us to reach approximately 500 individuals per month.
